Digital Painting. Done in Photoshop.
My intent was to make it more realistic, but in the end the sun ended up very stylized looking. I like how it came out despite it not being how I originally pictured. On the version on my computer you can zoom all the way in on the Doctor's face, but it becomes extremely pixelated and doesn't look like the 10th doctor anymore. I showed it to my boyfriend who is a very big doctor who fan and both of us agree, because it is so pixelated, it actually looks more like President Lincoln. lol
